A temporary art installation that covers the entire DVC Art Quad is now happening.
DVC Student Christopher Goodwin is installing a site specific installation that will remain up
until December 16th. The project is being supervised by his Art 140, Intro to Sculpture and
3-Dimensional Design instructor, Sean Olson.

Sean description of the work: My vision is to create a temporary experiential installation in the Art Quad. It will be like a forest or jungle with long vines openly blowing and rustling in the wind. From the ground floor it will hang overhead, and from he 2nd and 3rd floors one can look out through the vines. The vines will be long strands of videocassette tape, and the piece is designed to be mildly humorous in the use of such a commercially mass-produced, man-made material to mimic what industrialization has made scarce.

On your way to the Holiday Art Sale in the Trophy room stop by the Art Quad to see this amazing work.
